Welcome to Oh My Gravy! I’m Lottie Hancock—a Texas homesteader, author, storyteller, and a lifelong lover of good food and the memories created around it.

I grew up learning that a kitchen is more than a place to cook. It’s where stories are shared, traditions are passed down, and love is often served one plate at a time. The recipes that mean the most to me aren’t just written on paper; they carry the voices and lessons of the people who taught me.

I learned from the men and women in my life who cooked by instinct, measured with their hearts, and knew that the secret ingredient was always a little patience and a lot of love. Now I’m sharing those flavors, along with my own creations, from my Texas kitchen to yours.
